Anywho, I wanted to share something with you, something artistic that Idaho has to offer. Many of times we are stereotyped with by the phrase, "Idaho? Don't you all live on farmland and grow potatoes?" As much as we are known as the "Potato State" we're not all living like little house on the prairie stars.
The Idaho Shakespeare festival has been providing entertainment of the arts since 1977 with musical plays, to supporting artists who want to make it big some day. Their plays are not only entertaining, but the atmosphere of the outdoor stage makes the play even better. I've attended a play since my Freshman year of high school, when we took a field trip out to one of the plays for a class project. I immediately was intrigued and knew for years to come that I would be in frequent attendance.
This year, I am really hoping to catch Cabaret, a musical on love and revolution! While tickets might come across a little spendy, I can assure you, throwing down some Benjamin's would worth your while!
