for the love of ombre`
Guys! I just love ombre (and I wanted you to know). It's not only the newest fad, but it's everywhere around us. You won't just find it on the tops of Hollywood star heads, it's now being seen anywhere from clothing, make-up, purses to house decor. And I just love it!

Little Bits of Happiness
Hello friends! Thanks for coming back around to see what I have to share with you today. I was going through my google reader this afternoon over lunch (as I do every day!) and I came across a post from Brooke over at Bright Wishes. I first of all, really enjoy reading her blog, but I more importantly was struck by the post she wrote today, about becoming more positive! Positivity is something I always strive to be better at, but reading her post kind of gave me a little bit of a bigger push. I usually have my daily rituals when I wake up, go to the gym, and even read some positive quotes to feel much better. But I feel like I've been hitting a wall, and it has become repetitive for me. So, when Brooke shared the weekly Little Bits of Happiness from Mrs. Stephanie T's blog I thought it was a great project for myself to join in on! You all should check it out, and play along, because it will be neat to look over what each of us lovely gals find inspiring each week! Join me tomorrow for my FIRST Little Bits of Happiness post!

Homemade Body Scrubs
While this winter hasn't lasted too long here in Boise, the cold weather HAS been very tough on my skin. It's been rough, dry and itchy and I've really been in dire need of a touch up! (my skin has lost its glow!) I contemplated buying expensive designer scrubs, or heading to the spa for a day, but I'm trying to be smart with my funds! So, I figured heck, I could make my own body scrubs! Here are a few recipes I came across. Have fun, and let your skin revive itself!
ZESTY LEMON SALT SCRUB
What you will need:
5 tablespoons sea salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 lemon
First mix the olive oil and sea salt together. Once the salt gets coated by the oil, the lemon won’t dissolve it! Next cut the lemon in half and squeeze over the salt + oil. Mix and mash. (Feel free to adjust the recipe to your liking.) Then scrub away!
SWEET ORANGE SALT SCRUB
What you will need:
5 tablespoons sea salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tsp coconut oil
1 sweet orange
First mix the olive oil and sea salt together. Next cut the orange in half and squeeze over the salt + oil. Mix and mash. Lastly, add the coconut oil into the mixture to give it an extra scent! Then scrub-a-dub-dub!
BROWN SUGAR SCRUB
What you will need:
2 Cups of brown sugar
1 Cup of almond oil
1 Cup of almond oil
First add the 2 cups of brown sugar into a large bowl. Then add in the almond oil. (I kept adding equal ratios of oil and water, until the oil was completely absorbed) Lastly, mix and mash!
Sugar scrubs are great for a sweet scent, while salt scrubs are more for a zesty smell! Either are favorites of mine, and are not only a great gift to give, but a nice gesture to leave along side any sink in your house!
ENJOY!

Baby Blues
You know what I have just been craving lately? Colored pants. But even more so, blue pants. I absolutely love this ice blue look that can be coordinated with nude, pastel or neon shades. These pants are a striking look to give a pop to any outfit. Looking for a scorching deal as to where and find these baby blues? Well, here are a few stores that can help you out.
